Jesus presents The End of the World radio show..

The End of the World presents a freeform selection of sounds, straight from the global DIY Underground. It is a conscious attempt at smashing corporate monopolies and censorship of music, as well as having absolutely no respect for copyrights and other forms of institutional strangling of the arts. Don't expect things to be genre-specific either. Jesus (the presenter, not the famous religious figure) plays whatever Jesus likes, and even some things he doesn't like, if that's what it takes for maximum impact.

Broadcast in English, every Wednesday, 23:00 to 01:00 EET, on 1431 kHz AM and online from http://www.1431am.org

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 6

Jesus driving one of the Full Wave Rectifier Laboratories Bedford vehicles..

Yet another one of Jesus in one of the FWRL Bedfords... Best vehicles ever. There has never been, and likely will never be, a commercial vehicle manufacturer as good as Bedford was. They just refuse to die. They last so long that Bedford went out of business because there wasn't any point in making more vehicles. Nobody was going to buy them, because the old ones are still running. They also really had a sense of style. One of the very few vehicle manufacturers in Europe with a sense of style. Before you think we're advertising, the company went out of business in 1986 or so. Also, at Full Wave Rectifier Laboratories, we heavily modify vehicles. So half the work was done by Bedford, and the other half by us. But we have to admit, we did start the the best base possible.

Director Jesus, star Foufoutos, and production crew members Teris and Edward, on the set of TeleJunkster, preparing everything for the shooting. The film was shot in Gallikos, Greece.

Foufoutos and Jesus in Great Hobonia preparing the TeleJacket. Oxygen and Propane works wonders.. The jacket was a cheap polyester piece of crap that was found in the garbage by Spiros who then proceeded to throw it back in the garbage because it sucked so much. It was salvaged by Jesus with the aim of turning it into some kind of prop.

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 5

On the Road somewhere in ex-Yugoslavia..

The kind of places we have to sleep in when we've had enough of sleeping in vehicles or park benches.. Pure luxury. Luckily, we spared you the close-ups of soiled underwear and moldy stuff..

Jesus is Angry live in Subotica, Serbia.

More of Jesus in Subotica, Serbia. Drunk people who smoke like they no longer need oxygen to survive and drink like their livers are made of stainless steel grade 304L... Weird venues that are near-impossible to find unless you're taken there by secret agents. Plus a weirdo with a guitar making noises previously unknown to earth creatures...

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 4

Performing with Gen 26 from Slovenia/Ireland, in Sheffield, UK. Synth'n'Noise...

Somewhere in upstate New York.

More upstate New York, Thousand Islands area..

Yet more upstate New York. Driving along the Canada borderline. Finally on this episode you get to see a bit of the "good" side of life on the road. Run down cities, sleeping in uncomfortable lawnmower-sized cars, alcohol and drug addiction as an integral part of modern music culture, dirty smoke-filled venues, prostitution, exhaustion, and so on, are not what we consider to be the "cool life". On the other hand, beautiful scenery, nature, interesting architecture, small picturesque villages, different cultures, decent "real" people, and astonishingly cool music, is what keeps us in the game.

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 3

Fear and noising in Los Angeles, California. Guitars strapped to loudspeakers and loads of noise.

Same gig as above, Los Angeles, CA. Certain members of the audience look like Jesus has just exposed a rather disturbing view of his uncircumcised member..

Same gig as above, Los Angeles, CA. Beer, Noise and permanent hearing damage for those masochistic enough to not use hearing protection.

Same gig as above, Los Angeles, CA. If you look hard enough you might be able to see Jesus in the back, behind several layers of thick smoke.

Jesus Himself and Billy Harris (Billy Crystal Meth Jr keyboard guru and singer) walking somewhere in yet another bad part of yet another town in the US of A.

More pictures of comfy sleeping arrangements while on tour. This is starting to be our favorite subject for photographs. We wish we had pictures of every single night of tour-sleeping. We could publish a photo-book just with such pictures. Sleeping isn't that hard actually, as usually during a tour, by the time you are free to sleep, you are already shattered. Waking up is more of a problem, as having spent a night in positions like that does very strange and unpredictable things to your muscles and internal organs. The older one gets, the more time it takes to straighten yourself out after a night like this. You're usually bent out of shape for a good few hours after waking up, your spine locked in angles you never thought possible and your kidneys feeling rather squashed from a hihat stand or something...

Working on new material with extra member...

Please welcome our newest addition to the band... Foufoutos...

There were rumors going around that there was a weird guy with a suitcase watching TV in the fields...

So we had to capture him and see if he's got what it takes...

Jesus had to go to the fields to look for him...

He was successfully located and brought back to the studio for band practice...

The music now sounds so heavy we'll have to get it to you by rail... If we try to upload such heavy music, the internet will go down.

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 2

Driving somewhere in Eastern Europe.. Them doggone commies over there forced us to stick so many stickers on the wind-shield that we could hardly see the road.... They threatened us with Gulag-time if we did not comply.

More weirdos in the back of a Jap import, in the good ole USA..

Comfy sleeping arrangements in a truck stop in the desert somewhere between Nevada and California... For future reference, Buick's and related domestic vehicles are quite comfy to sleep in. The same can't be said for European and Asian vehicles, that are designed to be driven on narrow bike paths in dark countries that haven't yet understood, or in any way implemented, the idea of the motor vehicle, in their urban planning..

Working girls in Los Angeles, California.. En-route to our gig at The Smell..

Hanging out with Travis of Ono and a few other folks, at Nitetrotter Fest at Mixtapes, the coolest venue/record store/tattoo shop in East Moline, Illinois...
