TeleJunkster screening in Slovenia

Following a decade of round-the-world DIY touring, high-speed car chase situations, hunger, sleep deprivation, dealing with corrupt border guards and customs officials, laboratory building, weapon-grade audio electronics design, being attacked during concerts by cops, the mafia, irate audiences, drunk band members, and lately also paramilitary outfits, attacking audiences, being hospitalized in several countries, and going to every extreme imaginable (and some not even imaginable), Jesus is Angry has decided to not personally attend, or perform, at the 2012 Noisefest in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

Instead, the world premiere of TeleJunkster, a film by Jesus is Angry, will be taking place on the second day of the Noisefest (this is Saturday, April 14, in Menza pri Koritu, Metelkova, Ljubljana, Slovenia, for the few unhip and painfully uncool people who aren't in the know). Jesus has decided to stay off the road for a while and be creative in his lab, in a secret (or not so secret) rural community, isolated from the world. Expect more videos, photography works, and new albums to follow.

Another classic from our archive... This is from a USA Tour in 2009, with Billy Crystal Meth Jr and Eyes, from East Moline, IL. The picture is from Gabe's Oasis (aka Picador) in Iowa City, IA.

The instrument is a mini modular synthesizer in a suitcase, designed and built by Jesus Himself for the purpose of not ending up in Guantanamo Bay by trying to get Bob (the big Modular Synth) on an airplane...

2010 USA Tour

Three months and 18000 miles, from the coast of NY to the coast of CA and from the Canada borderline to the Mexico borderline. More gigs than anyone could remember... Along with Billy, Jorge and Thomas, of Eyes, from East Moline, IL. Awesome times.. Police lights, smoke machines, whipping audience members, corrupting the young, terrorizing the old...
