On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 16

A church organ somewhere in Italy, seen on a short walk around town while on tour. Jesus is Angry did not perform on it, unfortunately, nor did he get to modify it. But he sure would like one of them organs for his studio, in case someone feels a fit of generosity coming on.

Some friends in Ljubljana, Slovenia, keep a pet cop.. erm, sorry, I meant a pet pig, in their apartment in the center of town. We have often been hosted in their apartment since numerous tours have brought us there. Always fun to play with it!

The Alps, on the border between Italy and France. Touring does involve mighty long drives, but scenery like this is as much of a reward as anyone can get from the road!

Picturesque street in Parma, Italy. We were in town for a few days while Jesus is Angry was presenting a part of his scientific audio research in a conference held there. Taking a break for some "acting serious" in the middle of a crazy rock'n'roll tour can always be fun and unpredictable.

On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 15

A South Yorkshire Police Helicopter in breach of the residential area altitude limits, snooping in on us in England. The cops do have a tendency to use their choppers in the most inappropriate ways. When the Full Wave Rectifier Laboratories headquarters were based in Sheffield, they used to hover above the building (again in a residential area) at 4am for half an hour or so, waking everyone up in a 5 mile radius! The Civil Aviation Authority told us that while this is a breach of the altitude limits, for which you normally need special permission, issued only for very serious reasons, they have repeatedly informed the police of this violation, but since the police force is the actual enforcement body for aviation violations, they never enforce it on themselves. The CAA is unable to do anything apart from repeatedly informing the police of yet another violation. But since they cannot carry out any form of enforcement, they just have to wait for the "enforcement body" to act... 

Jesus is Angry in the sky with diamonds.. Flying above the Atlantic Ocean from England to Chicago, IL, for a USA tour. Long boring flights, but immense excitement waiting for us as soon as the plane lands.

The Joliet Correctional Facility, in Joliet, Illinois. This is the same spot that both Blues Brothers films start off at. We like visiting such monuments, and feel lucky that we're still on the healthy side of these walls. 

Driving in New York City, trying to find a venue with not map, no sat nav, and no idea where we're heading. It didn't make us feel any better when we called up for directions and were asked if we were the "Flamingos" who were scheduled to play that night............! Turned out there was more than one place with the same name in town.
