On The Road with Jesus is Angry: Part 8

A Full-Wave Rectifier Laboratories touring caravan somewhere in England...

Beddie the tour machine, with icicles and snow... The wood burning stove keeps it nice and toasty inside though, and melts the snow before it can pile up over the vehicle. This way, the tour machine can and has taken bands around the world in the most adverse weather conditions imaginable.

Yet another Full-Wave Rectifier Laboratories touring Bedford in the snow.

Jesus enjoying his breakfast at the Full-Wave Rectifier Laboratories Rural Culture Studios, while on a short break from touring to prepare for the next tour, in the olden days of constant touring...

The weather could not prevent Jesus is Angry from touring. Nor could the vast distances and long hours of driving. Malnutrition and intimidation by border cops were laughed at. Attacks by paramilitary groups were survived. Non-stop touring did not stop for anything..... until.... The worst evil of all managed to bring it to an end, for Jesus is Angry and several other fearless touring veterans: Massively inflated fuel prices, massively inflated road tolls, massively inflated vehicle taxation, and thievingly high mandatory insurance costs. The government has effectively outlawed touring!

No tour plans for 2013 yet. Might happen, on a small scale, or might not happen at all. If you want bands to keep on touring, all you need to do is overthrow the fascist dictatorships that are ruling Europe, overthrow the tyrants in the US government who are shitting on our forefathers' ideals of freedom with their abusive politics, overthrow the ruling class mafia anywhere in the world where they exist, and then make sure you start defending our basic human rights and freedoms at all cost, so that we will never have to witness such attacks on civil liberties ever again. Until then, do without live music. Sorry kids. Fun times are over. We are at war now.

Noisefest Documentary Taster

DRMK Noisefest - 13 years of noise! from Tinnitus Jukebox on Vimeo.

This is a short taster of what is likely going to be the best documentary film ever. It is being worked on for the past THREE years by Tinnitus Jukebox, probably longer in the works than any film ever made by civilized man. But the subject is well worth it. It is about the Nojzfest, an annual DIY experimental arts festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia, now on its 13th year.

From Tinnitus Jukebox:
Now about to enter its 13th wonderfully noisy and abrasive year, the DRMK collective's Noisefest again takes place on Fri 12th and Sat 13th April 2013. Held in the awe inspiring and graffiti art smothered autonomous social centre of Metelkova Mesto, in the heart of Ljubljana, Slovenia, the festival is more than simply a weekend of the finest noise.
Club Menza Pri Korotu is the venue - one of the many clubs, bars, workshops, galleries, anarchist libraries, resource centres and other such wonders that have flowered out of the former barracks of the Yugoslavian Army since it was taken over by artists and squatters in 1993.
